Window and Door Requirements for Swimming Pool
Windows
Windows that open into the swimming pool area must be fitted with permanently installed, fixed security screens unless they cannot be opened more than 100 mm.
Doors
It is no longer permissible to have a door providing access from a dwelling to an outdoor pool area without there being a compliant pool barrier installed between them. Child resistant doorsets are no longer compliant regardless of when they were built or installed.
